While I was stuck camping in an RV Park in Mt. Shasta (about 5 hours North of San Francisco) and by chance he was parked next to my aunt's trailer. Since my aunt knows I'm a martial artist and he mentioned he was a martial artist my aunt introduced him to me. I started talking to him and he had dinner with my family and I. Apparently he's met my Shotokan teacher, he knew my Kung Fu teacher's teacher Jimmy Wu, he's friends with Chuck Norris, and his dojo itself is a certified movie location... among all the fascinating things I learned about him.
The next mourning I had breakfast with the guy as well.
On top of meeting and talking to the guy he demonstrated some moves (Unfortunately I was his dummy) and he used over 8 pressure point moves on me in seconds and put me to the ground 3 times. It was amazing. If that man demanded I make him a sandwich I would have milked a cow in order to get the cheese for the sandwhich.
On top of that he actually agreed to take a look at my choreography reel... AND HE LIKED IT. Gave me some nice pointers for choreography and thinks I'm on the right track.
This was an amazing experience I will never forget and it's made me that much more determined about my films and I was extremely grateful to get the chance to meet him.
