Now most of us will remember that the last time I posted a clip from this project, the thread turned sour to say the least, and I had originally planned not
to post anything from this project on here because of that previous thread.
However I'm not ashamed of this work, in fact i'm proud of it and I don't mind showing people, even if they hate it.
The movie itself has been completed, it lasts 2 hours approximately and stars a cast of people with zero martial arts training or experience (except from Will
Millar) - the choreography and editing was done by myself and John-William wrote and directed the movie.
The sound effects seem slightly off in the trailer when viewed on youtube for some reason, I had to add them in, the sounds aren't the original heard in
the movie itself.
I know I will receive extensive criticism for the movie looking cheap, the kicks and other moves looking sloppy and some newbie camera angle mistakes, but
I've had fun making the project and it's been a total worthwhile experience. I know a lot of people don't approve of the project as they think I
should do lots of shorts first, but although I understand their advice, I am very pleased that i've managed to do a feature length with some fights - the
rest of the cast are so eager to see it also.
Look out for Will Millar in this video too, the best kicker by far in the film, he performs some very nice kicks. As for the fight scenes themselves,
I'll probably upload them onto youtube within time...
The movie will premier in 2 weeks time at Aberdeen University in Scotland, and there are around 50 people I know in person keen on viewing this one for that
night.
Anyway, don't expect Dogs of Chinatown from this, it's almost the complete opposite
