im an incoming senior in high school and i've been totally frustrated about finding a good and successful film school to visit this summer and to start
applying to. NYU, UCLA and USC seems to be the best film schools right now but seems pretty prestegious and i do not have the grades for that. i'm at a
3.0 average right now so i don't think ill be able to make it in either of those, I'll still apply but i really doubt of a positive turnout. If not
make it into any prestigious film schools that look at grades, i was thinking about resorting to a private school that doesn't look more at your grades,
but more at your portfolio and work and such. i've done a little bit of research and found another good school in my area "chapman university",
which seems to be successful, but the grades require a 3.2...bleh. i just researched and came upon of what seems to be a good film school "Los Angeles
Film School". LA film school website says nothing about a good transcript or academic requirement they just "accept students who are serious about
pursuing a career in the world of entertainment media". sounds too easy?! i have no idea right now, but the school in my mind right now is Los Angeles
Film School. but i'm very hesitant.
anybody have any suggestions or comments of any good film schools i can resort to in my area (cali)?
