what did I just watch?
haha all jokes aside, I mean... hm. The production values seem high and nice and whatever words you want to use. But nooo!!! Eric Lee! Eric Lee is awesome and then hes dead. Anyway, so he's a ninja at night, fighting crime? Then the mob wants him dead. Hurm... Storyline aside, there is simply way too much style over substance in this for me to give it merit as an actual movie. The fights could be cool or well done or whatever, but its a whole lot of flips and spins and tricks and everything in between that it looks more or less the same. And I'm not sure if this is a promo reel or a trailer, but nearly 4 min is very long. I'm not bashing their creative endeavors by any means and like I said, it looks all dandy and pretty, but that can only do so much right? The storyline itself doesnt seem too interesting, but alas, if they completed it and its a feature (which it seems to be) then good for them. Nonetheless, its passable on my end. I can only really give them credit for having nice visuals, but even then the visuals seem staged as opposed to actually enhancing the movie. S'ok, I guess. Manny |

Yeah, what Manny said. I dig those guys but the whole story looks really bland, and that acting... I guess I shouldn't talk, but it's a serious film
and well, yeah...
That definitely looks like a promo to me too.

Eric, your acting chops are amazing.
My favorite part of Contour - Law *pulling at lightstring while Chris talks* : ... that doesn't work. |

If this is in fact a trailer, I'd definitely like to see the full movie. Looks cheesy as hell, but the action looks pretty fun, albeit not brilliantly
choreographed.

So is it an actual movie? Or just that trailer?
By the way DFX, almost nobody ever even hears that line from Contour. Glad you liked it

Not sure. I believe it was only a trailer but if it gets a positive response they might go for a full movie

Hahaha, on a slightly less negative note, I'm going to admit that I was very impressed by this little promo. From reading previous comments, I assumed
that there would be random and obnoxiously overdone tricking randomly inserted into scenes, but that didn't seem to be the case. Although some excessive
acrobatics do remain, I like what I've seen in these fights; it's rare to see action of this style supported by this level of production value being
executed by people who have an idea of how martial arts should be executed onscreen, and I found myself very thoroughly entertained by what I saw. I actually
thought the old asian man's acting was pretty good, and while there weren't any standout performances, the only character's acting that I thought
was slightly distracting was the lead (that of course, might be a bigger problem should this project see itself to completion, and he is shown delivering lines
much more often).
Granted, this piece is cheesy, but I'd definitely shell out 8 bucks to see this on a bored Friday night should this become a movie. Seeing as Devs knows these guys, I'd almost feel connected in a way to the filmmakers behind the project, it's always endearing for people who you can relate to to reach the splotlight, you know? |

It's not to say the fights were terrible by any means, and I've seen way, way, worse from trickster based choreo, but simply enough, all the action in
this movie can only hold my interest for so long before it looks like a crazy demo with sets and nice lighting and nice camera work.
I definitely would support it, but would I enjoy it? Maybe, maybe not. I could always be pleasantly surprised. But irregardless, I still feel those production values could be put to better use. But that's just me... but beautiful shots. My thoughts too. Manny |

Well I'm with Jon on this one. I thought it looked awesome. Dumb, but awesome. I would definitely see this if it was on at my local cinema, no questions
asked.

i know these guys personally as well and I do some training with them once in a while along with Devin. from what i know is that they used to trick and flip
around a lot back in the day. now they've seem to grown more into martial arts and stunt filming and they don't practice their tricks or flips as much
anymore either. i guess that the flips are just there to amuse the audience and i must admit, this is pretty good trailer to the inexperienced eye. the youtube
page is literally getting positive comments EVERY minute for a demand for a full length film. and i do agree with Jon, i would definitely pay 8 bucks to go
watch this. haha, these guys are pretty sick and they share the same intrest in martial arts filming as we do. i totally respect emc for what they do and i am
totally up for a full length film.

I would see it as well. It can't be as bad as Bloodfist 2050 haha. Tho I dislike the fact that his ninja costume consists of Converse sneakers.

Born to create chaos, this mysterious warrior uses superhuman speed and highflying skills to dispatch anyone unlucky enough to cross his path before they even realize they're in danger, and the slips back into the shadows like a ghost to wait for his next victim.Haha, this is his description on the American Gladiator website. "Born to create chaos." Awesome.

I think the trailer didn't really stir up much interest as it could of been. I thought i was watchining a drama- then a ninja movie- then a romantic
comedy- heist film. How are they going to sell the last fight scene with all the shirts off and water whiping?
For one it gave you the whole film away. Action sets seems inspired inpired by The Protector. They gave it there own spin but not so cool if you've watched The Protector. My 2 cents at least. But hey they had there cool moments in it. |

If they are going to compete with SP's Contour in HK style action (which apparently from this video they are, whether they intend to or not) they're
going to have to do alot more than just put alot of money into their film. They're really gonna have to work on their action. In my opinion, none of the
action in this promo compares to the stuff seen in Contour, or even the Contour trailers. And everything that SP pulled off in contour, they did with
considerably less money and resources than what it appears was spent on this. The action isn't bad, it's good. Just not much better than that. On 1-10
I'd give it a 6 or 7. Zerogravity's stuff from YSO I'd give an 8, and SP's Contour takes the cake with a 9. They are cool guys though. I did
work with two of them when doing stunts on the set of 1000 bullets last thursday. Never really knew much about them before then.
