Hahaha, on a slightly less negative note, I'm going to admit that I was very impressed by this little promo. From reading previous comments, I assumed that there would be random and obnoxiously overdone tricking randomly inserted into scenes, but that didn't seem to be the case. Although some excessive acrobatics do remain, I like what I've seen in these fights; it's rare to see action of this style supported by this level of production value being executed by people who have an idea of how martial arts should be executed onscreen, and I found myself very thoroughly entertained by what I saw. I actually thought the old asian man's acting was pretty good, and while there weren't any standout performances, the only character's acting that I thought was slightly distracting was the lead (that of course, might be a bigger problem should this project see itself to completion, and he is shown delivering lines much more often).

Granted, this piece is cheesy, but I'd definitely shell out 8 bucks to see this on a bored Friday night should this become a movie. Seeing as Devs knows these guys, I'd almost feel connected in a way to the filmmakers behind the project, it's always endearing for people who you can relate to to reach the splotlight, you know?
