the only thing I don't like about this board is if you're logged out and don't notice and try to post a message it seems you're screwed.
it'll prompt you to log in, but then doesn't actually post the message, if you backtrack the text you typed isn't still there in the editing box.
or is this just a firefox or browser setting issue?
I like this forums interface fine otherwise, but that's the only thing I've noticed that was superior in the old interface.

Oddly enough this doesn't happen to me and I use Firefox as well. Ironically, that was a problem that happened for me with IE, but not with Firefox.
I'm not exactly sure what causes this to happen, bu it may have something to do with privacy settings perhaps.

ahh, cool, thanks for the imput, I'll look into that. glad to know it's not just a yuku user-interface blunder.
out of curiosity, does it bring you to the login prompt then post your message after you fill it out, or does it allow you to hit back and still have your text content there? |

Yeah, I get this issue on IE6 all the time. I don't even know why the board logs me out so much. It's like every two weeks, bam I'm logged out
again. I've lost count how many epic posts I've lost in the 'login void'.
If it's not gonna remember the content of your post after it's made you log in, it'd be super helpful if the board at least put a message in the Quick Reply box that said "You're not logged in" or something. It'd make the whole experience a lot more comfortable.

However, if I go backwards somehow it manages to keep my old text.
