Thats actually not Kingdom Hearts 3. KH3 won't be worked on for a while. This is a separate game meant to tell about the time before Sora, Riku and Kairi. back when the Keyblade war was first starting. I can't recall if this is Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

The kid who died and is basically the counter part of Sora and Roxas is named Ven
The girl who is the counter part of Kairi and named Aqua
and the guy shown at the end is the counter part of Riku and the main character who goes by Terra

Really crappy part is the next 3 games.
Kingdom Hearts Coded, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
Are all hand helds. 1 different game for each hand held (NGage >=[, PSP, and DS)
