Beginner Videos... |

The point of this thread is to make you guys show your old videos when you entered the world of film-making. I find this fun because you really get to
appreciate how much a certain person/group has improved ever since those first few videos. Below are the videos my friends and I made last year:

I really can't believe im posting this. This was LONG before I really got into film. Like beginning of sophomore year. It was just a day when I got bored
and started playing with my friends camera. Most of the clips were just random crap I found (we always recorded everything for no reason) and so I just tossed
them in
The reason theres a long clip of horse playing with the kid casey is cuz at the time we had a vendetta against him. Ironically now im friends with casey but enemies with scott |

can appreciate how much Shaun, Derek, and Rob have improved... The third video I posted was the last one we made.... We are shooting a movie at the moment... I
will upload a scene or two soon...

Hung Kuen, I absolutely love your video there, even though there are problems and it is a bit slow, it's still fantastic and I love the 'Secret
Rivals' style music.
I need to watch more of your stuff!

Here you go- 12 seconds of complete guff. The sad thing is, it's been so long since I last worked on anything, that ALL of my work could be
considered "old stuff".

Hung Kuen, I absolutely love your video there, even though there are problems and it is a bit slow, it's still fantastic and I love the 'Secret Rivals' style music. Thanks man! When it comes to fighting, I don't think I've progressed that much, since I don't really do that kind of stuff anymore unfortunately. All the stuff I have online is uploaded to my youtube account (link in sig), so feel free to watch and comment |

On-screen fighting is just one aspect of filmmaking... I was watching the Skymning (Dusk) - Teaser right now... That trailer by itself got me psyched...
The zombie makeup looks great... It seems very moody and atmospheric... @ theportlykicker, i saw your video "rumble in the park"... I liked that alot... What are you up to these days? You should be making more of these fight scenes...

It seems very moody and atmospheric... Thank you. We'll see, I might release it with English subs on a password-protected vimeo link in the coming months, but I'm not making any promises. It's fun to watch all these old videos. Some which I recognize, some not. Most people here have really come a long way! |

Hung Kuen, you're obviously an extremely talented man behind the camera - but I would like to see you make more Kung stuff - but I can appreciate the other
aspects of your film-making talent.
Cinematography is sublime for an amateur, if that is what you are!

Fair enough, but it would be unfortunate if you didn't make an English sub for us...

Thanx Darren,
During that time, i have obsolutely no idea of how it will turn out to be...haha. Anyway its a good start same goes to everyone here. Like Rob said, in a matter of time, it can bring you further as long the passion is kept burning. Its good to start than never. I believe all of us got some benefit from the community in this board and help us along the way to the next level. |

This is the first video I made.
It feels like it wasn't so long ago I posted this, but that's probably because I don't make as many videos as all you other guys do. |

Most of these are from the summer of filming in June of 2006 - August. They're just a test fight compilation. I have more, quite a LOT more hahaha. The old board knows what I'm talking about. Test Fights 2006 - Click here for more amazing videos Manny |
