Hey guys, I'm beginning to develop Beat Down Boogie and if you're interested in being involved I need some
things from you. I'm sorry to inconvenience you about this, but I think it will be worth your while. I need this material to:
*Help me organize casting considerations
*Create pitch material to show potential investors
*On an unrelated note, I may be in a future position to refer screen-fighters to other filmmakers with attractive budgets
THIS IS WHAT I NEED:
I need photos, text info, and full-rez video. Please send the photo and text info via email and I will reply with an address to send the full-rez video clip/s.

1. A HEADSHOT jpg - this doesn't need to be a professional headshot. Just a good shoulders-up type shot where we can see your face clearly. It should be at least 800 pixels on the longside.
2. TEXT INFO -
First and last name (as well as your posting name from this forum)
Age
Height
Location
Special Skills (ie. martial arts training, gymnastics, specific stunts and tricks you can do like flips, hk spins, etc)
VIA SNAIL MAIL
3. FULL-REZ VIDEO - *VERY preferrably* an MOV or AVI file on data disc (DVD or CD)
Ideally this video is your best fight scene. If you don't have a fight that you feel is great, then a reel of stunts/tricks is preferred. And if you want to send both items, that'd be great too. If you are putting together a reel just for my sake, it does not need flashy editing - just your hottest moves - since I have to make everything fit the pitch video anyway.

It'll take a long time for me to develop this film, so there's no ultimate deadline yet for this material. However, the sooner I recieve this material, the sooner I can start considering you and fleshing out possibilities. I would love to have a lot of this material in my hands by the middle of August.
Also, if members of your crew are not active on this board but should be considered, please ask them to be a part of this process, or handle their submissions for them if you feel like it. Eric, of course you and Ray don't need to submit anything. On top of the fight from Dogs I have Undercut and Contour on DVD and with your permission will use clips to help pitch Boogie. But I'd love to get some materials from other SP members if you can get their attention. If they have good fights in Contour then I just need their photo/info. But if I don't have their fights already, I'd love to recieve a video clip, whoever sends it.

LBP and LEO, if you guys send me stuff, and want to include any full-rez clips or teasers that show off filmmaking style, that's cool too. If I end up in the company of certain peoples, I'd like to show them some stuff like that too. I know there's some works-in-progress by you guys, so only send what you're comfortable with and know that I will treat the material with respect and discretion.

OK, I think that's everything for now. If I can get this off the ground, we'll be looking at a pretty big production with one or two name actors in parts. More than anything we're trying to make a huge fun martial arts spectacular, inspired by SP and others here.
