Wow, you guys are VERY athletically capable. This video is definitely a GREAT start, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more from you guys.
On the side though, I'd just like to point out that this should probably have been posted in the Independent Alley section. It might get more attention for what it is there. |

From the video you guys are acrobatically capable but I should point out there's probably too many cuts during the whole fight. Also once you guys went
from tricks to exchanges the exchanges had weak looking punches and kicks so I'd advise putting a little more oomph in your attacks next time. You still
have good rhythm, very athletic, and it's obvious you already have the basics of filming down. I would just recommend having your fights flow together a
little better because the amount of cuts didn't give a good rhythm to the scene... at least in my opinion.
Keep it up guys I'd love to see more of you.

I don't think there were too many cuts. The edits are many, but for the most part, I feel like they are well chosen, and do not cause an overly
disorienting effect. I wouldn't go so far as to say the punches and kicks looked weak, but there was a bit of a snag on some punches and kicks that made
the back and forth between the two fighters look a lot more telegraphed. Developing smoothness in exchanges I think, as well as a little more snap in back and
forth hits should be enough if you are to pursue this look, since it seems to be based more around the aesthetics of movement than the fierceness of a brawl.
In fact, I think the main thing to be focused on when you are preparing for your next fight is to polish your framing slightly. The shot choices are not bad at all by any means, but at times they lost the best possible viewing of the action. However, it's hard to explain in words what a good shot or a bad shot is, so it's really up to you to just take your vision to the next level, hahaha. This fight is very different from the sort that I make, so to tell you what sort of shots I would employ in a fight would be a tad bit pretentious and counterproductive. X). |

Awesome! You guys can really move.
I'd agree with Darren about the too many cuts though, sometimes the angles changed too fast and it got disorientating, especially because you broke the 180 rule about a billion times.

It was okay but it was a little bit unrealistic and the reactions seemed delayed and not really believable enough when getting hit.
I like the chase scenes parts, there were too mny cuts though and it gets frustrating (see A Punch To Revenge as a prime example of this) It looks good but there are a lot of problems because you both look very capable and if you choreograph something better, with less cuts etc you could produce something very good indeed! Not bad overall!
