Docks was the first ever SP short I watched, I was very impressed by it back in 2001, I was a young boy at the time and thought that it was incredible the way
amateurs managed to do Kung.
This was after I had seen most of Jackie's movies...

I think the first SP short I saw was Assassin. It's probably my favorite SP short from the graveyard. However, Powder Struggle is still my favorite older
short in general.

Hahaha, obviously it's not the best old SP film, but I used to watch Secret Rivals 2001 REPEATEDLY because I liked the music so much. I was also mad for
Docks and Escapee.

Assassin here too. Dunno why, I just really like the locations and setpieces in it. Overall action-wise though, gotta go with Trust: Transaction 2. That movie
rules.

Whenever I want to motivate the guys, I put on T2. Immediately after that 40-minute train wreck we'll all end up running around trying to be productive.

I hope you don't mind me using your 2001 work as an inspiration for me to put another 7 years into it and then see where I'm at. :-p Wow, that post was sort of an insult and a compliment mashed up together, lol.

Personally I think that the SP old movies are better than most peoples first movies - and the SP were one of, if not the first group to do this sort of thing,
as far as i'm aware.
I think groups doing it now have an advantage as there are groups like the SP that we can work and improve upon! But I think its good that we can all use each others material to get better!

I look at most of Rogue Hunt's footage and want to shank myself.... I look at my first short, 'Kung Exchange' and I want to kill myself, a thousand times over I even removed it from youtube recently it was so painful to watch!

the civic, hands down. Found it on a Jackie Chan site many years ago..."Project J" I think. I remember I would make my friends watch it just to hear
them say "holy shit" when eric did that jump. And of course, auto tracking...classic end credits.

Maybe i missed it, but did Ed ever get his web episode done with Eric as ninja. I thought Eric was going to be a vampire ninja in that when i saw the short
clip a while back. Just wondering, maybe i missed it.

Ed's still working on the webisodes. We're done shooting, and he's doing a bunch of After Effects work on it. It'll be called "9 to 5
Ninja" I think.
