LotW and Ballistic Kiss (and to an extend Shanghai Affairs) possess a film-making style I like. The execution has some things to be desired (since the movies
are low budget) but overall they are done with tight ambitiousness imo. I'm sure Donnie can do better now as his knowledge in film-making have broadened
since then.
