First off, I didn't read everyon's comments completely, so I apologize if I'm repeating something that's already been said.

I just finished watching the movie & am too lazy to do a really thorough reveal, so I'll just add whatever comes to mind.

First, and probably most importantly, I want to address the film as it matches up with some of Jay's thoughts about it & Jay, I think you were way too hard on yourself. I know for a while you wanted to bury the project or whatever, but it's a much more competent piece than I think you made it out to seem. Personally, the story may be a little scattered, but I think you can't really tell that the script changed half way through filming (unlike movies like Police Story 2 or Rumble in the Bronx where it almost switches completely). Perhaps it was your initial vision for the film VS what you had to settle for that made you doubt the project, but I think it came out quite well.

Some scenes are better than others. It's very hard to do drama like this (which is why I often avoid it). Sometimes you guys pulled it off pretty well.

I dug the title shot in the hallway.

Lots of good music throughout.

I actually wasn't that big of a fan of some of the color of the film. Parts seemed really washed out or too light. I understand the need for it in afterlife scene, but other times things seemed to be lacking in color compared to your other works.

Definitely enjoyed the choices Eric Jacobus made in the acting for his character. I was hoping the character would be a little more developed or involved in the story.

Really enjoyed the car POV shot. Very nice.

I enjoyed a lot of the ways you used the trees to cut during Micah's fight & also thought there were a few really good shots in there.

I've loved the fight with Vlad ever since you put the preview up. To the best of my memory, it's some of the most agile work I've seen out of Vlad. Jay, your gainer's also awesome. This is a great fight that I'm glad I can now see regularly.

The standoff at the end was also a really good touch & well done.

PS- If you can, you should totally do a fight in that apartment hallway with all the pillars. It's just BEGGING to be used as a fight location.
